Audit culture change

This course aims to establish a positive audit culture in the workplace. How workers are judged on their work has an enormous amount of influence on the culture of the workplace as a whole. Get it wrong and you have paranoid, stressed staff who are distrustful of their managers. Get it right and you have happy staff who believe they can get ahead, will be motivated to reach their own goals as well as yours and will trust you, their managers to help get them there.

• How do you feel when you’re audited, how do you think the auditee feels?
• Auditor identity – teacher or judge?
• Dealing with ego – Our own as auditors and those of the people we’re auditing
• Understanding that treating different people differently is more fair than treating everyone the same
• The results of getting the culture right and the consequences of getting it wrong.
